Best Buy and target should have display models out of at least some of the more popular headsets. I definitely recommend trying some on in person if you can since the comfort part can be somewhat subjective. I find hyperx to be the most comfortable brand by a long shot and ended up getting the cloud

Hyper x cxloud3 are regularly on sale for like $60. It's genuinely a great deal and one of the few headsets I can wear for hours on end without any fatigue.
