Is anyone using the Insta360 app on iPad (with an X5)?
I use my iPad Pro 11” to edit my X4 footage. I use the insta360 app to reframe and edit. Then I export to photos and use LumaFusion to further edit. With the X4 (and I’m sure X5) you can plug the camera directly into the iPad via usb-c and you get to retain the use of your WiFi for internet connecti

X5 vs. Osmo 360 comparison chart 👀
I think the Insta360 X5 is more the adventure 360 cam especially for underwater action and the DJI is more for the photographers / videographers who want more resolution for tweaks. I must say that I like it more to use a SD Card than a build in storage capacity

Insta360 Go Ultra hiking adventure Video
I like the specs and especially longer battery life and able to use an SD card but wish they kept the same form factor. I still enjoy my Go 3S, so I'll stick to this for a few more years. I'm in no rush for a new camera. My GoPro Hero 11, insta360 X5 and Go 3S are enough for me at the moment. Lookin

X5 or O360 if mic is important?
If there's any chance of handing over the camera to Toddler or want to share quick clips with minimal edits, go for x5. If you edit your footage on a pc and don't intent to post to socials via phone, go for O360. And if you are on windows, you probably will have to download the insta360 studio to ge

Osmo 360 promo leaked: 50fps, 8k, 1-inch, 10-bit and chep
I like my X5 but insta360 is getting annoying with the cloud features, like having an upload to cloud button that doesn't do anything if you aren't subscribed, good that DJI enters the game. The shape is weird, also no replaceable lenses? Not for me yet... But easy switch if insta gets annoying with

The importance of replacable lens
For me it's a consideration among other factors aswell. I don't like to do much colorgrading myself, so I prefer (atm) the "popping" colors of the insta x5. the software is far more matured on insta, it will also probably on dji but that's not a certain fact. Also, might take years. osmo might have

As a human with actual hands, is it just me, or is the SD card on the Ace Pro 2 a bitch to get in and out?
I've inserted thousands of SD cards over the years across every camera I own, and this one's just a tougher slot to seat. Works perfectly on my other Insta360 cameras, especially the X5. Really cool that you've got staff monitoring the sub though, that kind of support goes a long way. Love the camer

Tracking my racewhoop with the Insta360 X5 camera!
I have the insta360 x5 too. I was planning to do something like this too. 🤣 the auto tracking while editing the 360° video is really amazing.

Insta360 X5 vs DJI OSMO Adventure Pack
I went thru the same thing. Ultimately I think I'm going to settle on the insta360 purely because it has the better windows desktop app. Unfortunately for some reason DJI is so behind on the curve for this, especially because it doesn't have the AI tracking capability like it does on mobile and appl

Noob questions
Can confirm, 360 is perfect for this exact use case. I film my two kids with an X5 — same idea as your duo setup. You film once, then in post you reframe on one performer, then the other, from the same take. No need to worry about framing during the actual performance. Set it up, hit record, be pres
