Quick question, do u guys life in your households? Cause my roomba gets caught on everything
Those kind of roombas just bump around by driving into walls and objects while following an algorithm that allows them to cover an entire space.. it can't see anything and doesn't use any kind of slam or v-slam. More modern ones either machine vision (as in an actual camera) to navigate or lidar or

Please say I don’t have to buy a new one.
Best part of iRobot is most of their components are replaceable and reasonably priced. I'm not positive this will fit your robot but they have these modules for most of their current line. https://www.irobot.com/en_US/roomba-cleaning-head-module-for-roomba-i3-and-j7-series/4706166.html I once had an

I was a Non-Believer
It do be like that sometimes - I never shut up about mine, my Roborock is my second robot vacuum (I had a Roomba J7+ first) and I’ve been blown away by how effective both of them were at actually cleaning (we’ll leave the Roomba’s technical limitations out for now.. 😆).

What's the best robot vacuum for cat/dog hair you've ever used? What's worked well for you?
Our iRobot j7+ has been going strong for 3 years. It occasionally pukes out whatever it just collected but overall does a great job. We also have two shark AI in the basement and on the bedroom level - they’re just not as good as the roomba. Fine but not as thorough.

Help Resetting Roomba Combo J7+
HI ,... What I found on some Roombas is that I needed to press the Clean Button extremely quickly 3 times for the command to be accepted and work. ON THIS MODEL --- remove the dust bin --- And you really have to press the one wheel down hard and hold it. I did the slow press - press - press, and it

Roomba i7+ stopped working
I had a similar issue with my j7+. I tried, first reset the Roomba then to factory reset the device (removed it from the irobot app) however it wouldn't reconnect correctly. The ring would simply spin around after I restarted the robot. Thought it was stuck in a reboot loop and that I had to get a n

Dust box instead of dust bag
I actually integrated a Dyson animal V2 dust collector into my Roomba j7+ quite a few years ago and it's been working great ever since!! It was a lot more intense of a print and design though. It took months to get right

Garage roomba, anyone?
TLDR - I have one and love itLong explanation - I bought a Roomba J7 Plus self emptying robot from the eBay Certified Refurbished program. I believe I paid $200 for it this spring. I chose Roomba because it handled the changes in the space better than RoboRock - I have a four post lift and raising i

Moppaava pölynimurirobotti noin 500 € budjetilla.
iRobot on tällä hetkellä vähän riskisijoitus, koska peruuntuneen yrityskaupan myötä kyseisen firman tulevaisuus on aavistuksen epäselvä (taloudellisesti menee kai aika heikosti). Itselläni on 120 neliöistä lemmikkitaloutta hoitamassa Roomba j7+, eikä itse tuotteesta mitään pahaa sanottavaa. Mobiilis

Why doesn’t it auto-empty or give me the button to empty the bin?
If you lost you 'Empty bin' button, as I did a month ago the solution is to release the Roomba from your household and re-add it. That did it for me when both iSuck and iSuckMore decided they did not want to empty on their own any more. Mine are j7+. Edit, tldr: reset Roomba and add it again as you
