My speakers are Eris 5s Those are ok for what they cost, but honestly, some JBLs, Kalis, Yamahas, etc would be an improvement over those, and in my opinion a more significant improvement than extending the frequency range of a just-ok pair of speakers. Look into the JBL 308P MkII and Kali LP-8.

Cheap, big/loud/enveloping, accurate/clean/lacking distortion. Pick two. You can't simultaneously defy the laws of physics and economics. JBL 308p should be great. Or maybe you could consider LP8 as well. IN8 would be cool for mixing but might not have the same fun vibe.

JBL 308P If they are too big, they have the 306P and 305P, and the 5s sound beefier than HS5s. If you want to hear bass, and don't want a sub, bigger is better, not smaller.
