Editors, What kind of speakers are you using to mix audio with.
You can for sure get a pair of professionally-decent audio monitors for $300-$500 US. They won't be great and I wouldn't use them to finish audio for Netflix or whatever, but for most corporate work, YouTube, and lots of other stuff, there are a bunch of good options. Here's a slight edit of a post

Can I/how would I connect this to my Audiobox USB?
You could, but it would be more work and less functional than buying a subwoofer designed for a home studio. You said you just picked it up, can you return it? What monitors are you planning to hook it up to? You would most likely either need 2 dual trs to single rca y adapter (out of the audiobox,

I’m psyched on my little slice of recording studio heaven.
Thank you. Every single thing minus the laptop in the photo is 2nd hand purchased and the sub was probably the best deal. $180 for a jbl lsr310s. Little buddy kicks.

I haven’t personally used this model, but on the top of my list of “almost unanimously praised subwoofer that is very affordable” is JBL LSR310S.

Looking for a pair of decent audio speakers to edit sound
I think you can get by with less-expensive audio monitors. Or you could get a pair of the JBLs mentioned below along with a decent matching JBL sub for about US$720, but personally I'd hold off on the sub. Here's what I wrote a month or so ago: ===== You can for sure get a pair of professionally-dec

Studio monitors for synths AND a stage piano
Piano needs subwoofer as well, as the lowest note has a frequency of 27.5 hz You would do better with a sub with crossover and two smaller monitors rather than just two midsize monitors. JBL LSR310S us a good budget option. Edit: a set with monitors is right within your budget https://www.sweetwater

Adam T5v or T7v?
+1 for the D3Vs! I love mine! I also recently added a JBL LSR310S sub, so at this point I think I'm set. The D3Vs sounded great on their own with what they could do with the lows (for their relative woofer size) - but the sub really made a big difference. In my relatively small untreated room, this

Studio monitors for playing guitar (help me choose)
Jbl's are the best bang for your buck, especially second-hand. They are also great for untreated rooms. This waveguide thing is magic and stereo imaging is simply unbelievable. They also sound very consistent across the room. I love them so much that I got JBLs 305 with LSR310S sub in my home office

Sub or bigger monitors
I think the 305s are good and "punch above their weight" as they say. So why not add the JBL sub that matches really well with the 305, the LSR310S? https://www.jbl.com/LSR310S-.html About $470 new, and I see that Sweetwater in the US has an open-box unit (floor model or return or something) for $42
