LSX II LT near field sub recs?
IMHO, KEF's subwoofers tend to be overpriced for what they offer. I'd recommend something from SVS or Rythmik, or if you want to stay truly in budget, RSL. I run an RSL Speedwoofer 10e with LS50 Metas and it's...fine? I wouldn't mind more, but my wife would 😁.

My current collection of speakers: Bozak B410, JBL L100 Classic MKii, Pearl Sibelius, Q Acoustics Concept 300, KEF LS50 meta, and more.
They are a very well balanced modern 'dark' sounding speaker with great imaging and overall neutral but don't go down low at 45 Hz so can use bass assistance as expected for bookshelf speakers. When I play them it is very hard to pinpoint which speaker is making sounds which indicated that they seem

LSX II → LS50 Wireless II upgrade? Better option around $1700 USD / $2400 CAD for music in a 150 sq ft room?
Not convinced of which? I have owned LSXII, LS50, Q Concerto, and WiiM products and think that’s exactly the right combo to consider. The KEF app sucks for real DSP control. WiiM gives you 10-band PEQ and even their own room correction software. If you want to add a sub you can time-align it with Wi

Center channel for ls50 metas?
What did you choose? Did it work in the end? I'm currently on the same site, because i consider between kef q concerto and ls50 meta. My aim is for a great movie experience and i thought maybe the ls50 meta's low mids to bass sound is missing something, which maybe the r2 meta can help with as cente

What would you consider the best speaker design ?
They're not flat on axis, there's a 3db rise from 2.5-5k, they're much better behaved 15-30 degrees off axis. For my designs I prioritise on axis response and linear off axis response horizontally, because if I'm listening to music I'm sitting down, why the hell would I prioritise vertical off axis

Sound of Kef Reference 1 Meta vs Kev Reference 3 Meta
Thank you, this is exactly the type of response I was looking for. My only concern with the KEF Reference 3 is that they will have inferior soundstage/imaging due to lacking the advantages of a more focused driver array (i.e. more of a point source), a smaller (and presumably less resonant) cabinet,
