All KEF speakers need 4-ohm stable amplification, and any that rely solely on a single Uni-Q driver for full-range (Q150/Q1 Meta, Q350/Q3 Meta, LS50/LS50 Meta) for anything other than nearfield listening must be used with a subwoofer and high-passed to protect them from low frequencies

Yeah I got the pair for that price. It looks like a store display and upon careful inspection, that small ding on the first picture is the only problem I could see. It came with the original box, foam plug, manuals etc and I was able to register at KEF for the 5 year warranty. I decided to keep it.

Sorry to hear that. My description on my open box is Good Condition and it came in the original box with everything. It also came with the 5 year warranty. Like I said, the only issue is one small ding on one of the drivers. So KEF will replaced both drivers for $300? It will come out to around $700
