LS50 Meta

I'm breaking every rule: I have a couple of KEF LS50 Meta's wall mounted close to the ceiling in the corners in my kitchen (8m x 5m) and they fill the room very nicely for what I need.

I've the same colour except my Kefs are the wired LS50 METAs. Cracking set up and look great in white IMO

All KEF speakers need 4-ohm stable amplification, and any that rely solely on a single Uni-Q driver for full-range (Q150/Q1 Meta, Q350/Q3 Meta, LS50/LS50 Meta) for anything other than nearfield listening must be used with a subwoofer and high-passed to protect them from low frequencies

Just wanted to say that the main reason you want to add a sub, is not just for extra rumble, but so that you’re clearing up the mids and highs as the lower frequencies are shifted from the LSX’s to the sub. In saying that - I’ve heard the LSX II’s firsthand and agree with you that in a nearfield set

Actually some pretty insane bargains, found KEF ls50 Meta for 480€. But again I’m not so experienced so would be headache with setting it up
