Beolab 8s vs KEF LSX II for desk + future living room setup?
I have both. One set of Beolab 8 in my bedroom and one set as rear speakers to my Beovision Theatre in the living room. The Kef LSX II is used as desktop speakers in my office. Like @matteventu wrote above, the Beolab 8 are more similar to LS 50 Wireless II than LSX. The Beolab 8 can play louder and

Subwoofer rec with LSX LT II
I’ve recently tried some different subs with my LSX ii in a 11x17x9h ft room… BK XLS200DF. Owned for ~15years. It’s a good and fairly musical sub, but it developed a minor fault and seemed a bit outpaced by the LSX II’s which sound faster, so I set about trying some new subs to see if newer = better

Attic setup inside a triangle nook
They’re KEF LSX II paired with a KC62 sub. honestly a huge step up from typical desktop speakers. Super clear mids/highs with great stereo imaging, and the KC62 adds tight, clean bass without overpowering the setup. For nearfield listening they’re fantastic, very detailed but still fun. Definitely f

KEF XIO Soundbar
All W2 models will be supported for Surround channels later this year. They are still working on adding Front channels as well, which is planned for late 2026. Currently I am enjoying my XIO Soundbar with the Kube 12 I already had. The Bass is already great without the Sub, but for the real low dept

Is there any Sound System/TV Soundbar that's Google Home compatible?
Check any products with "Google Cast" (formerly known as "Chromecast built-in"). Avoid those that don't have it, i.e. Sonos, most Samsung, recent Sony Bravia soundbars, etc, even if they claim support for "Google Home". Some examples of soundbars that integrate nicely into a Google Home ecosystem by

Small living room: LS50 Wireless II vs LSX II w/sub
I owned the LSX II paired with a KEF sub. Sounded very good but I decided to try the LS50 Wireless IIs with the sub. Like you, I like to listen loud at times. There is simply no comparison between the LSX and the LS50’s. The LS50’s are much better is every way you can imagine. They still need a sub

REL Tzero MKIII vs T/5x for KEF LSX II LT nearfield desktop setup
Another vote for SVS SB1000 or RSL woofers. I tried a couple different 8" subs with my desktop KEF LSX II setup before realizing I just needed something bigger. 8" and 30-35hz @ -6db was not enough for my listening satisfaction. I found myself constantly wanting more low end. The SB1000 is a fairly

Speaker for my Husbands Bday!
I’ve got KEF LSX II’s that I absolutely love. I just stream music via Bluetooth or watch movies via the HDMI input. I added an SVS 3000Micro sub to fill in the bass. That particular sub has been discontinued but they’re releasing an update. I got lucky and found an oooen box unit for a steal at Best

Is LSX II LT good for modern music?
I had Edifier R1700BTS on my work office desk a few years ago, LSX II LT now. The main difference you'd hear is clarity and precision across the spectrum. Bass is tighter, vocals, instruments clearer and more defined. Liked them so much at work that I sold off Kanto YU6 & put another set of the KEF

Where's the Bass? LSX II
Also realize that Sonos is big on DSP enhancement, using psychoacoustic principles to simulate bass response from its smaller drivers, as well as creating its trademark immersive experience. KEF uses DSP to fine tune response, not synthesize an “experience.” So, yes, you probably do need a sub to fi
