LSX IIs

I have a spreadsheet with powered and active speakers listed with dimensions and specifications at http://www.mcmullon.com/activespeakers.ods The LSX are desktop near field speakers and many reviews say they do not fill a room. A sub KC62 helps as gives them more headroom. alternatives include:- Kef

KEF LSX II are definitely not going to fill a large room. They are SPL limited to near-field listening only. LS50wII would be better options for larger space.

Go with active speakers, as others have suggested. I’d say there are three issues to consider when thinking about what to buy. First, your room at roughly 15’ x 25’ is not small. Costco now selling KEF LSX II LT for $500 - and there's a reason. Their app, connectivity, etc...totally sucks! Right up there with VW getting pop'd for manipulating emissions via software....LOL.
