What’s going on with Keychron?

So I have several older Keychron keyboards (Q, Q Pro and V series). I've had almost no problems with them with the exception of one original model Q5 that had a hot swap socket connector pop off the rear of the PCB (which potentially was my fault when replacing switches on it as I've swapped switche

NuPhy killer or nah?

Depends on what you value I guess. My €130 Nuphy Halo 2 IO feels and sounds much better than my €225 Keychron Q1 Max... and the Nuphy doesn't have rattling stabs.

Why all the hate for Keychron?

Got a Q1 HE. About half a year in I got random key presses, sent it back, got a new one. A month in, the same thing happened. Definitely not a switch issue, as it happened even with the switches removed. I’m on my third one just because I love the look and feel of it, but won’t be buying any new Key

I'm impressed with the Neo98

That's what blows my mind. I have 4 Q series from 2020-2022 and it's crazy how bad they sound and feel(with mods and tuning) compared to the stock sound/feel of many of the boards out in the last year that cost half the price. It's just crazy to think that they were IMO the best value proposition in

Q1 Max flaky keys

Re "Does anyone else have this issue?": Yes, at least 169. For example, Double spacing / not inputting keys. Q1 Max, started after two days, and it is now unusable. #35 One key press, but two letters on the screen. For a Q1 Max. After a few weeks, the problem started for the Tab key and the "I" key.

pareri pe fun60 ultra tmr?

Am o Fun60 HE si dupa doua luni de la achizitie efectiv n-am mai functionat. PCB-ul s-a stricat random. Am contactat sellerul de pe Aliexpress si mi-au trimis alt PCB dar am pus-o la vanzare si mi-am cumparat ceva mai frumos si reliable, o Iqunix EV63 si are deja peste jumatate de an si e mai placut

Keyboard recommendations

120 percent or 120 keys? o.O Full size is what u describe - (normal keyboard alpha-numeric + fkeys top row + arrow and function keys then + numpad on right side) And u can get a 80% (which is what I believe the wooting 80 is) he, he = hall effect (magnetic switches, NOT mechanical, but most magnetic

Feels like I'm going in circles and I could really use some help with suggestions for my first custom keyboard. I'm going for the following criteria for what would be a barebones kit: -65% Layout-CNC Aluminum frame-Black or Silver Frame-Tri Mode or at least wired plus a wireless connection-Ability t

My Q6 Max ordered from Keychron is arriving soon, how worried should I be?

I have a Q1 V2, a matching Q0 and a Q5 Pro. No issues on any of them. I ditched the keycaps and switches on all of them (my preference, no issues with either). My son loves the Bananas I gave him. I prefer silent tactile and have Boba u4s and Outemu Silent Cream Yellows now. My only issue ever was w

This is my personal opinion on this, but the latest series is not really worth the effort to mod. Not because it is garbage or anything (though QC/support by Keychron is apparently not as good as it used to be), but because there is nothing to do: The old Q series (full metal that came before the ch
