Please deinfluence me! Boox Palma 2
I have a Kobo Libra 2 and a Boox Palma 2. Pangit user interface ni Palma, and mas mabilis maubos yung battery. Cute siya tingnan and very handy... kaso i dont think it's worth the price. Bought mine sa shopee for 18.3k.... and hindi ko nasulit siya kasi I still prefer my Kobo over it. I kinda regret

Does anyone regret getting a color ereader
I was afraid that I was really missing out and bought a color erita after already having a new Kobo Clara black and white and then when I got the library it was kind of disappointing and I ended up selling it again . Unless you're really into graphic novels or color content I see no advantage and ha

Getting my GF a Kindle for Christmas
Colour is the only difference between the Clara Color and Clara BW. Libra only has a colour version and has a pencil for notes, dropbox/cloud stuff, buttons to turn pages. A lot of people in the kobo sub frigging hate the colour versions. It's basically an extra layer over the black and white screen

I can't decide which one to get. Kindle, Kobo or Pocketbook?
As someone who also sideloaded exclusively, I ended up selling my Kobo Clara BW after I bought a Pocketbook Verse Pro Color. The only time it’s really laggy is when you’re doing things other than reading (which for me is minimal once I had it set up how I liked it). I love the page turn buttons at t

Kindle Basic (2024) or Kobo Clara BW? Which one has a better screen?
I actually returned basic because it started straining my eyes as theres no warm light... I also had kobo clara colour, but I think it also affected my eyes, I can't explain, they just felt tired? So I returned that too, and now im on kobo calara bw, very happy with the device and no issues reading

I have the Kobo Clara BW, which I got to replace a Kindle Paperwhite that I had for a hot minute in early-2024 before they announced the KCBW. In hindsight, I should have just gotten a Kobo to begin with, given that their now discontinued Kobo Libra 2 cost the same as what I paid for my Kindle. As f

Pocketbook Era oder Tolino Vision Color?
I have kobo libra colour (its tolino in Germany I believe). I love the device. Worth to note that ALL colour devices will have darker screen (because the way colour screens are made) and graininess. If you are unhappy with tolino, unfortunately any other ereader will have same problem (i had colours

Switch from phone to e-reader?
Before you decide on a Libra or Clara Color please look through this subreddit and the r/kobo subreddit and note how often that gets returned or people talk negatively about the screen quality. With an e-reader they don't age like other devices do. For instance I'm still using a nearly 15 year old K

Moving away from Amazon after 10 years with a Paperwhite
Unfortunately, nothing matches the Kindle Paperwhite in terms of hardware and reading experience. I own a Kobo Clara BW, but I still prefer my 7th or 12th generation Kindle Paperwhite.
