is worth buying a laptop with intel Ultra 7-258V?
I would say yes, MacBook is the best atm, BUT only if you don't look at the prices. I have a Lenovo P16s gen 3 for 1300€(MacBook pro starts at 2000€, 16" MacBook even at 2400€). And I love my Lenovo, superb product, nice power and nice battery life(I have the 155h processor and get about 8-10 hours

What laptop would you guys recommend for running CAD and 3D software?
In your price range I would check the Lenovo LOQ series, great price great video cards. If you want to get more serious check the ThinkPad P16s Gen 3 ADA series. That some freaking computers.
