I believe the Thinkpad T14 Gen 7 is a worthy successor to the T480.
Precisely this! When I ordered my T14G5 it was around $4000 with the options selected. Granted I'm still using it for the foreseeable future, I made a configuration with the major options I "need" (Ultra 7, OLED, 64GB Ram) and it clocked just under $5100 Canadian. I'll wait until I can get it discou

E14 Gen 6 vs T14 Gen 5
Would prob grab E14 to have the dual m.2 slots, and bigger battery. The feel of the T14 is pretty much the same to me between T14 and E14...ended up getting a deal for $530 on a t14g5 refurb from Lenovo Outlet with 135u, 16gb, and 512gb NVMe and threw in a 4tb 990 Pro. It's a great daily but dont th

Linux hardware tier list
I upgraded to an AMD T14G5 from a T430. Got it used for like 750 USD. It only had 2 battery cycles on it :D

ThinkPad T14 Gen 5 daily users – how does it feel?
On maybe unnecessary background, and with apologies for longposting: I've had lots of ThinkPads and lots of Latitudes but the majority of my ThinkPad experience is from ~20 years ago and the majority of my Latitude experience is from the last ~10ish years. I had a bunch of new-and-used ThinkPads 200

Any thought about the Thinkpad t14 gen 4 intel ?
The eBay and on-Lenovo pricing are going to be different because Lenovo's pricing will reflect that Lenovo itself is certifying the machine, a little closer to Dell's own refurb/outlet stores. There's, I'd argue, a different value proposition there, and I would even say that paying "more than an eba

Buying refurbished ThinkPad
Recently bought a completely new and sealed t14g5 512 16 for 650€. I guess it depends a lot on the specific market where you're from.

What makes you love your Thinkpad?
Between personal and company, I had 10 laptops or so. Dell, HP, Asus. My T14G5 just works. That's it. Whatever I throw at it, it works. I never had such a seamless and easy experience installing linux as in this laptop. I tried really hard to find anything wrong with it, the best I came up with was

New T14 gen 6!
Found one for about 1,300 dollars. I'll buy it when there's a chance for me to mod it with a better screen. Because 268v with a 120 hz would definitely go better. I am not a huge OLED fan, an IPS would go just as well for me. The only problem is the compatibility issues that Lenovo firmware has as f

Bought almost new for €850, Thinkpad t14 gen5 135U pro 32GB 2TB
I bought a completely new and sealed t14g5, 16 512, ultra7 155u for 650€. I kinda thought it was a great deal from the get go so I bought it pretty quickly. Is this as good as I thought initially or it's simply a decent deal?
