Help me buy a Thinkpad!!!!

Look for A ThinkPad P53 or P15 G1, yeah they're 15inch, not 16inch and they're heavy, but they have GPUs and can game. If you'd rather have a lighter carry then look for X1 Extreme or P1, gen 2 and 3, they're the same chassis, just one has Quadro graphics instead of GeForce. If you must have a 16 in

Are t480 really this good?

Imo T480 is great when you want to try ThinkPads out and don't have that much cash. When you have a budget, you can go for T14 Gen 2/3 - I picked Ryzen 7, 32 GB RAM version of Gen 2 2 months ago and installed Touchpad from X1 Extreme (glass). Very good set.

Scored a ThinkPad T15 Gen 2 for only $31

The thing that probably annoys me the most with the T14/T15 is the mylar touchpad, especially if they have a shiny spot like this one. I’m also accustomed to using to glass touchpads on most of my other ThinkPads. The X1 Extreme Gen 1/2 and P1 Gen 1/2 should be a direct drop in replacement glass tou

What are advantages and disadvantages of a Thinkpad?

Thinkpad T14s Gen 2 touchpad issues

I had a similar problem with Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 3, the touchpad and the pointer were not working. The "WinTab" driver didn't help, but the "Synaptics UltraNav Driver for Windows 11" worked right away without a restart. Thanks.

Luv my new t14g3 but why is touchpad so trash?!?

You may try getting a trackpad reaplced by Lenovo first? I'm not sure if the glass trackpad from X1E will work on it, but if it is I really recommend it. I did swap mine many years ago and it was fantastic. I upgraded my laptop to a Latitude 5420 and I missed my trackpad on my old T490 so much as th

When the X2 Elite machines will be aviable for purchase?

Will they be cheaper than Panther Lake? In very similar devices I believe they'll be similarly priced but with better value: Lenovo has said they estimate the Slim 7i Ultra to start at $1,499.99 USD. Lenovo UK currently sells the Slim 7i Ultra for £1,620.00 with only an Intel Core Ultra 7 355 + 32GB

Ebay seller claiming he sent the same trackpad. Is he correct?

Query successful Gemini said Based on the part numbers in the images from that Reddit post, the seller is technically incorrect. While they are both ThinkPad trackpads and may physically fit the same slot, they are different revisions and potentially different surface materials. Here is the breakdow
