How does tandem OLED compare to QD-OLED, really?
Tandem Oled is essentially a brightness boost, and with this brightness boost you also get brighter colors compared to traditional WOLED. While the colors are brighter they still dont pop as much as Qd-Oled from my experience. My local Best Buy, Costco, ect already have LG C6/C6H on display and it's

1080p > 4k for games
Almost all specs lol. The only thing an OLED 4k monitor does better than an OLED TV is refresh rate (although the gap is getting closer as lg c6/g6 is 165hz now) and being compact enough to fit on a desk. Meanwhile, a proper OLED TV destroys it in durability, HDR impact, brightness, and overall imag

1440p or 4k
Lg 42 inch 4k 165hz c6 or 4k 144hz c5 claps all 1440p/4k oled monitor in terms of durability, image quality, hdr impact, brightness, immersion. Not even lg's own tandem tech on their miniature monitor version can beat c5/c6

48" LG C6 First Impressions/Review
There are still no reviews comparing the LG C6 and G6 in 48"... From what I've read: ▪︎ The G5 would have ~1,200 nits (Tandem Rev. 1.0) ▪︎ The C6 would have ~1,400 nits (Tandem Rev. 2.0) ▪︎ The G6 would have ~1,800 nits (Tandem Rev. 2.0) Now, what real impact would that have... it would be good to have

can a TV be a "safe choice" for sim racing?
From my extensive research, the LG OLED G5 series (and now the newly release C6 and G6) have tandem oled panels, which have a lower power draw (specially in SDR) and provide greater contrast and brighter peaks while pushing less voltage through the panel. Also the G series has active fans cooling th

45" Ultrawide OLED vs. 43" 4K TV: Which is better for 1:1 wheel scale and immersion?
If we were talking a 42” 144/165hz OLED instead, given my experience, the C5/C6 LG OLED is simply better than the 45” 5k2k in many ways. Immersion, 1:1, brightness (by a long way), and glossy screen. It’s definitely not as good for productivity and many types of games, but for sim racing, it is. The
