Does mouse matter that much? I have a CP mouse for now. Budget is 50 usd.
With mice. The only thing that matters honestly is polling rate. And all that matters there is it's higher than your FPS. How do I start to use my arm to aim more than my wrist?
Going to add to what the guy above said about lowering effective sensitivity, but you should also increase your mousepad area as much as you possibly can. It’ll force you to have to make exaggerated and large movements by default, since flicking will require a larger distance traveled by the mouse.

Wireless gaming mouse recommendations
Logitech G305 is excellent because it uses a replaceable AA battery, it has impressive battery life (can last several months), decent weight, excellent sensor, good click feel, and good range, and it’s very cheap.

Show me a mouse with zero haters. This is mine.
Too heavy and too expensive. Logitech G305 is perfection. Low price. Light weight. Durable. Battery last ages. It is the apotheosis of mice.

Some good resources for beginners?
i ran into this last month coming from high rank too. skip the generic beginner stuff and go straight to Voltaic's Valorant routine in KovaaK's - it's on their discord. for fun games, try ultrakill obviously or severed steel. honestly the hardware can hold you back if you're on a heavy mouse. i grab

For a keyboard, the Keychron K6 has magnetic switches and is cheap enough, plus it’s a nice 75% size. For mousepads, Artisan is high quality, so that’s worth a look. Also, check ou
