Drugstore makeup can be good and I regret spending on high-end brands for years
ngl brands like mac and urban decay have really decreased in quality since 2019, while drugstore brands have only gotten better…I remember when drugstores only had 3 brands and no color ranges. You could buy “black” or “blackest black” mascara, silver or blue eye shadow, and mauve or red lipstick. N

What's your favorite mascara? mine is this for over 10 years
Has to be the classic Maybelline Great Lash. It's the only one that doesn't irritate my eyes, and I remember seeing my mom using it as a kid and wanting the exact same one when I grew up

Drugstore makeup can be good and I regret spending on high-end brands for years
I love many high end products but also know I can rely on some drugstore brands. For instance, you can never go wrong with Maybelline Great Lash in a pinch or otherwise. Physician’s Formula is trustworthy. And last year I bought a Wet & Wild Megaglo Hello Halo blush/highlighter (in I Met Someone) th

Looking for a really bad mascara
The classic pink and green tube of maybelline great lash is guaranteed to get the job done. Lay it on nice and thick 💕

Mascara
I live in the soupy south, too, but I use nothing but Maybelline Great Lash waterproof in the pink and green tube. Between contacts and humidity, I would definitely have raccoon eyes. I’ve used this mascara for almost 50 years, and it hasn’t failed me yet.

Auckland mascara wearers, help?
For 20+ years I used Cover Girl Marathon Mascara. When they discontinued it, I switched to Maybelline Waterproof Great Lash (pink and green container) and I'm still using it 20+ years later. I put on mascara twice a week and until recently I required that it stayed put through PT sessions, crying ja

Auckland mascara wearers, help?
Definitely second that maybelline great lash, there's a reason it's been their best seller for 40 years but I'm about to try Rimmel Wow wings just for something different. 🤞

Eyebrow gel with not white crust
OG Maybelline clear Great Lash Mascara. Affordable, effective and under the radar because it’s marketed as a clear mascara, not an eyebrow gel. No flakes, no white crust. The wand is tiny and works well on my thick, dark brows.

I honestly don't know what to look for in a mascara
I would try different style brushes before anything. I don't care how good the actual mascara is, if the brush isn't good, I'm not going to like it. I always go with the dense, fluffy brush (I hate the silicone ones). After that I'd just start with a basic mascara like Maybelline a great Lash or LOr
