Be my eyes app
There are like 12 volunteers to every 1 visually impared (VI) person who has it installed if I recall correctly, isn't that amazing. And HERES THE BEST BIT, they integrated the app into the Meta Ray Ban smart glasses so if you're VI and lost, in trouble etc it's quicker to call a volunteer to help.

Cars honking to get around a biker - how to react?
Yeah, that's what I use mine for too. I run an Amazon spec Hiicam Speed 20 as a dashcam, and the Ray Ban Metas after shit happens for court grade evidence of who was driving. The Gen 1s are on sale a lot of places for $300, but that's still a lot. There are a few "buy these Chinese smart glasses bec

Princeton scraps honor code and will supervise exams for first time in 133 years because of AI
This isn't how those glasses work at all, and you cant get tts back from them. This is why i say you need to get hands on with a pair and educate yourself instead of baseless fearmongering. Heres a site with instructions to setup tts on these. These aee standard Bluetooth devices, anything that can

Just a Question for the community
I actually own an Apple Vision Pro, so I’ll give you an honest perspective after living with it for a bit. First off, the Vision Pro is genuinely incredible tech. It’s as close as I’m going to get to Tony Stark in the lab. I don’t regret experiencing it at all. But when I stepped back and looked at

Best Way To Record?
I feel this a lot. You don’t want to miss the moment just to record it. Honestly, the issue isn’t really the gear, it’s how you’re using it. If you try to capture everything, you’ll always feel stuck behind your phone. What helped me was setting simple rules. I only take a few short clips at each pl

I live in Japan and own Ray-ban meta gen 1 and was satisfied as a casual camera. draw backs are Can't use meta AI(not sold and supported officially in Japan) Glass don't fit my face. I'm typical asian and ray-ban meta is not for me Short battery . I use ray-ban meta only as a camera and ear phone .

Meta or alternative?
from what I’ve seen the cheaper smart glasses usually cut corners on camera quality and audio, so if photos and podcasts are a big part of what you want then spending extra for the Meta ones since that's an investment and surely will work long term

Should Apple make a product like Whoop or Google Fitbit Air? Why or why not?
I’d say yes.. if it integrate some captors like the prototype Meta showcased with their prototype smart glasses. Not reading minds but quite good at understanding gestures and I think more. Having this in a brace and Apple Watch bands would be perfect with a Vision/Pro and Apple Glasses. 2 for bette

Smashed my Hallidays falling off my skateboard. Looking for alternate replacements.
Truth be told all glasses kinda have a lackluster app eco system right now. Im a big ol nerd and have been dreaming of smart glasses for a long time but im holding out. Google is coming out with some android XR glasses soon (hopefully showing them off in there full, final product glory at the up com

Meta or alternative?
From what I’ve seen, the cheaper smart glasses usually compromise pretty hard on camera quality, audio, and battery life, so if you’ll actually use them daily for work and podcasts the Meta Ray-Bans are probably worth the extra money.
