What’s everyone’s opinion on their new Xbox Ally a few hours later after using it?

Barely better than a rog ally X, and feels worse than msi claw 8 ai+, specially screen and battery. Performance wise, if you already have rog ally X or msi, there's no point in getting this one. If you dont have any pc handheld it's a good adquisition.

Recently got into handhelds, don’t know what to choose.

I miss the Ally X. Software was great. Gyro controls, easy form factor and use. 7 inches though was too small for my approaching 42 year old eyes. Text especially. The MSI Claw 8ai is amazing. Absolute worst software ever though. Like, Legion Space was pretty bad, but Center M is a joke. Handheld Co

Well... i tested each of it

Tried ROG XAX and MSI Claw 8AI+ both, thought the performance and screen is superb, the rest is a downer (loosy Sticks, D-Pad, Vibration). On the other side the ROG XAX was great, but the screen just too small. I guess i'm waiting for the next handheld with Intel panther lake then.

MSI preparing Launch Pack for Arc G3-based Claw 8 EX AI+ handheld

Bruh, the OLED display on my Lenovo Legion i7 Pro (laptop) absolutely smokes the IPS my MSI Claw 8 AI+. There is no way IPS is better. The only reason why I got the MSI Claw 8AI+ was because the Lenovo handheld was just crazy expensive.

Another MSI Claw 8 AI+ vs XBOX Ally X post

I’ve had both, and to me it doesn’t matter how big the screen is when the device is uncomfortable. Plus, as you’ve mentioned, the MSI software is absolutely dogshit and, quite frankly, an embarrassment. I’m not sure about prices where you are, but the Claw is also £100 more expensive in the UK. Thinking of coming back to the Xbox Ally

I also had a bit of a buyers remorse after getting the Xbox Ally X due to the 7 inch screen, seeing how everyone praises 8 inch handhelds and the Lego 2.And I seriously considered selling it and getting MSI CLAW 8 AI+ just for the sake of the bigger screen. But then I found a spot that had the MSI Cl

Should I get MSI Claw 8 AI+?

The downside for me on the LeGo2 has actually been the screen being TOO big, feels like standing too close to the TV. Also having to turn the brightness up much higher than on the claw. Which means way shorter battery life. Stupid MSI for nerfing their own product by giving it horrible ergonomics.

MSI Claw 8 AI+ vs ROG Xbox Ally X: Why is the MSI supposed to be better?

You see lots of this online. People really want Intel to become a competitor to AMD in handhelds which is a good thing. But they also glaze over a lot of stuff comparing the devices. Generally speaking XBAX has better price, availability (here in the US anyway), triggers, speakers, cooling system, a

MSI Claw 8 AI+ vs ROG Xbox Ally X: Why is the MSI supposed to be better?

I tried both: I ended up sending the Claw back and keeping the Xbox Ally X. On paper, really, the Claw is better. If I just sat down and picked up a game, side by side, imo, the Claw is better. It has a much better screen (although the Ally X screen has some better VRR), it runs everything great. Bu

Help!

Thank you for your thoughts I appreciate it! I definitely am happy to purchase one now as they seem to hold value so I do not find that an issue really. It’s a tough one both great handhelds. The software on the claw is really really frustrating me this last couple weeks! and I do love the fact the
