Billbil-Kun: Xbox Rog Ally releases October 16
Poorly, just like all the other Ally units. Asus, MSI et all are iterating too much and flooding the market with units that all sorts of compromises. It confuses the average buyer - and you need their dollars for this concept to become a big enough hit to matter. Valve did it right. Keep the platfor

The only people who don’t like a Steam Deck, have never played one
I own one and I don't like it. I started off with allot of enthusiasm and even customized it with a larger SSD, hall effect joysticks, backplate, etc. Turns out I can't really get used to the control scheme as an old PC gamer. I need a mouse and keyboard. Granted, that's not a failure of the Steam D

Design is Unmatched, Real Shame
Non-functioning features that they're using as a selling point? As someone that plays a lot of FPS games, no gyro really is a deal-breaker for me. Since I first started buying handhelds from this company, I've probably forked over $5000 to them. In that time, the software experience has improved mar

Recently got into handhelds, don’t know what to choose.
I miss the Ally X. Software was great. Gyro controls, easy form factor and use. 7 inches though was too small for my approaching 42 year old eyes. Text especially. The MSI Claw 8ai is amazing. Absolute worst software ever though. Like, Legion Space was pretty bad, but Center M is a joke. Handheld Co

Steam Deck vs Legion Go S SteamOS
alright I'll bite. I've owned the Steam Deck, ROG Ally X, MSI Claw 8 AI+, Legion go S and Legion go 2. I am a life long xbox and pc gamer. I did have a PS3 and PS4 but didn't ever end up with a PS5. Steam Deck got me back into handheld gaming. I had it for about a year and sold it to get something w

MSI Claw 8 AI Better?
Ive had a claw 8ai quite recently, now own a legion go 2. In my opinion when you move up to an 8in screen it makes a huge difference, now im playing on the lego 2 with its 8.8in it makes my steam deck look comically small... However if you are quite used to a 7in screen then moving to another 7in sc

Which non-Deck handheld did you wish came with Steam OS?
The MSI claw. Windows sucks so bad on it.

MSI Claw 8 AI+ VRR broken at ~60FPS when game is focused (LFC bug?) (58 FPS lock example)
Yes, the Intel Arc VRR software on the MSI Claw 8 AI is faulty. I wrote to MSI France, who forwarded the issue to MSI headquarters, who then asked Intel about it. I showed them my test results, but MSI told me there was no problem... We need to see how it works on an AMD handheld. I have an Xbox All

Xbox full screen
No I am doubting the benefits unless you have an exclusive Xbox library and no Steam or epic games and play everything on gamepass . Launching games from Steam is glitchy in my experience . Specially on the claw I have to go to the desktop all the time to fiddle with several things . Like launching

Has anyone tried Winhanced on the MSI Claw 8 AI+? Does it work properly?
I tried it on the claw 8 ai+ as the app in Xbox mode. When I first launched it it worked ok but is really sensitive to stick input which is what I mostly use to navigate. After like the 4th or 5th time starting my controller became a mouse like it was in desktop mode even though it wasn’t. For this
