What am I doing wrong?

Hi, I came from a Delonghi Magnifica S Smart Bean to Cup machine to the Ninja Luxe Café Pro so have some experience of the transition. Over the last year I've been developing a Ninja Basics script which might help. It's lengthy, but covers most issue, you might want to just dip into three bits that

Frustrated

Ouch. Brew temperature is bean roast level specific, not generally a taste thing. Your shot coming out in seconds is your problem as it should take at least 24-32 seconds. This might help Ninja's basics For your sanity only use Barista Assist (BA) as a guide to get you close to dialed in and once th

Bought my other half a luxe cafe pro, where is the best place to get beans from? I’m clueless when it comes to coffee

Hi Tom, Yes, this is a dip in and out document, just find the sub headings that suit your needs and maybe keep the rest for a night when your struggling to sleep, and it'll send you right of to the land of nod. Ratio not correct on the luxe pro.

No. Well that answers your question. Can I make a recommendation, the next time you go into the Additional Settings menu and reach for _h04, can I suggest stopping at _h03 and turn it off. Barista Assist is by far the worst thing in the Ninja Luxe Café machines. If you look at the image below, even Ni

Output color mostly black

Yes, please see below. It's quite long, so just dip in and out if the sub-headings that suit your needs. Hope it helps. Does the extraction look good? Is this how its supposed to come out. New to home coffee scene

Yes. It's a script in parts, just dip in and out of the sub-headings that suit your needs. It's not exhaustive, there are nuances that you'll find over time, but it's the basics to get you going. I hope you find it useful. Ninja's basics For your sanity only use Barista Assist (BA) as a guide to get

Ninja 601 never good espresso quality

I don't know the coffee's of which you speak, but is it possible you're water is too hot, a chocolate taste often comes from darker Roast's which requires water temperature set to Lo. Here's my usual Ninja Basics. Hope you find something useful. Ninja's basics For your sanity only use Barista Assist

Would you recommend the Ninja Luxe?

I personally think Shark/Ninja make great products, I have five others, two bought since I had the Ninja Luxe Café Pro's, which the second, a replacement, I returned for a refund. If this sub-reddit has taught me anything in the year since my Luxe Café experience, it's that this machine was brought

Inconsistent amount of espresso

It might be in reverse—your gf getting too much of an espresso. See my post https://www.reddit.com/r/NinjaLuxeCafe/comments/1rwnpoz/first_shot_in_a_day_comes_out_too_high_volume/ There is a problem with these machines that you get first shot in a day way out of ratio. In my case on Strength 3 (1:2 ratio) my

Possible ratio issue :( Need advice on diagnosing / isolating

I don’t think this is fault, just badly/cheaply engineered machine which can’t deliver such feature consistently. There is no output scale built in with Ninja, and the rate of water flow at grouphead is hugely estimated and not really measured, combined with vibration pump which is also not super pr
