That joy-con drift was really bad on my Switch 1. Nintendo will fix them for free if you send them off, but you have to open up a ticket on their website first. You could open it and see if you see anything obvious like a problem with the capacitive pad underneath, the Joycon 1s as long as you're gentle are super easy to repair in my experience, swapped out joysticks for quite a few different ones and it was no trouble and the buttons were on the same level
