Update October 2022: Fake Nintendo Switch Pro controllers are now almost identical to genuine versions
TLDR: Bought a Pro controller from eBay for RRP. It is the best Fake Pro controller I've seen and only realised it was fake after very very close inspection.
Recently bought a Limited Edition Smash Bros Switch Pro controller from eBay, for retail price £59.99. Seller had very good reviews and all f

My Pro Controller D-Pad is horrible, is yours?
I just finally got a Switch Pro Controller just in time to play the Puyo-Tetris demo, only to find that the D-Pad is horrible. It constantly miss-clicks up and down when pressing to the right or left. Here's a gif of it in action: https://gfycat.com/ComfortableWarlikeKestrel .

Best controller for docked?
So far I’ve been using my Switch Pro Controller, but the lack of analogue triggers and the poor d-pad are a bit of an issue for me.
What controllers do you recommend? I’m thinking of an Xbox Series controller but I’m wondering if the extra cost of the PS5 DualSense controller is worth it for the tr

Button-based alternative for the d-pad?
Most people think that the Nintendo Switch pro controller dpad is not good. Too easy to mis-input due to lack of a center pivot point. Also, OP seems to be asking about dpads that are not like the standard cross style, but I'm not sure.

Button-based alternative for the d-pad?
The OG switch pro controller has a very poorly designed D-pad. Inputs are quite easy to mess up due to one big (very loosely seated) peace of plastic for 4 cardinal directions instead of 4 individual ones for one direction each. I'd like to swap the vanilla d-pad for a version with 4 buttons (like t

Has someone else finded that the Switch Pro Controller is not worth it??
After giving much though, I don't really have a reason to get a Pro Controller over 2 Joy-Cons, I thought that the Grip mode is good enough and that, aside of the D-pad and the fact that you can connect it to PC, there are more cons than pros (no pun intended) over getting it.
