Are you using wrist rests with your split low profile?
a little bit late to this, but I just started using a "wrist" rest with my NuPhy Air60 v2. I believe a more proper name for it would be a palm rest as it's what I use it for, and why I think it's good - with this palm rest, my actual wrist is floating in the air, no pressure applied to it from touch

Preemptive buys before drop?
I bought a NuPhy air60 V2 and Seagate Expansion 22TB HDD I'll be using my Epson 1080 projector, Logitech M575 trackball. I plan to use the Steam controller for 100% of my gaming.
