Kinda Regret buying Kick75
For the moment, buy some new keycaps to change up the look of it. It’s a fun budget keyboard and nice to dip your toe into it. Change up your switches. Try the Blush switches when they get back in stock. (They sell out frequently). Some alternatives: NuPhy Silent Red Clear-Top Switches: Specifically

Low profile Mx switch no need to buy choc which are very expensive
NuPhy collaborated with Gateron on what's called the Low Profile 3.0 switch. It uses standard MX pins and bottom case dimensions, but the stem post is thicker and the plate height spec is different. They're used in the Kick75 and the Chilkey ND75 LP. If your PCB is designed around being able to acco

Best keyboard from these options? (Typing + some gaming, $150 budget)
I have been building custom keyboards via commission for over 3 years and have over 30 boards in my personal collection. The only prebuilt I have held onto are my Nuphy boards. I’ve owned many Nuphy models over the years and I’ve sold them as newer models come out for which I’m interested. Nuphy ret

Node75 LP vs Air 75 V3 vs Kick 75
I have the node low profile 100. Came with blush nano but I replace 36 keys with silver nano. Both feel very similar, the blush is really quiet. I got the silver for the extra speed and some sound. Even with the silvers, it doesn’t feel that loud. The feel for typing is fantastic with both switches

Iqunix Magi65 Pro review: Low-profile wireless mechanical keyboard nails it with an affordable price
So 75% with optional silent switches and 2.4 GHz. The Chosfox Vero75 checks all the boxes and can even be ordered with a silent switch stock, but weighs 1.1 kg lol. About the weight of a small laptop. Alternatively, the Keychron K3 Ultra fits, too, and it's lighter, and there are silent switches ava

Many keyboards later …
I had the Kick 75 high profile and preferred it over the low profile Nuphy boards. I have had many different models over the past few years. I love my little Air 60 just because it’s so easy to carry around and use w my iPad and laptop. I am disappointed in the Air 75 V3 due to the lack of options f

Is the FlowLite compatible with Linux?
It is compatible, for sure, but you shouldn't buy it. You'll need a windows VM to run the customisation suite if you ever need to remap or customise something. Look into the NuPhy Air75 V3 or Kick75 and Iqunix Magi65 or MQ80. The latter options are a little pricier, but they're all-aluminium and rea

Should I switch?
Coming from Ornata Chroma I wanted something truly mechanical, so started looking into the widow V4 and huntsman. And that's where I got trapped in to the custom boards rabbit hole... Long story short:For gaming - I ended up using GamaKay TK75-HE due to the magnetic feature, but I had to swap the ca

Node75 Reviews
Happy to share!Lofree flow lite 100:- My board came with the Specter switches (linear - i think some boards come with the Ghost switches). I would consider "creamy" sound profile.- Overall performance is really nice, very easy to type on and probably one of the quietest keyboards I own [disclaimer t

/r/MechanicalKeyboards Ask ANY Keyboard question, get an answer - January 05, 2026
Hi all, first time first time. Moving from a borrowed Logitech Pebble 2 after my old Magic Keyboard broke, and I wanted a 75% keyboard that could swap between multiple devices as I spend most of my time typing at the office or at home. I had two questions I'd like your opinions on: I'm planning to g
