Daylite Expandable 26+6 Travel Pack

I mean, what about the Osprey 26+6? It’s a personal item when collapsed but can be expanded to 32L for a proper overhead carry on. 28+ might be too big for under seat travel, but great for overhead travel, though I’ll let others speak to that. I know I am squeezing sometimes with the 26

I believe the Osprey 26+6 checks all of these except stowaway straps, duffel strap, and U-zip mesh cover (honestly I am not sure what you mean by that). The Osprey 26+6 is one of the best combinations of flexibility (26 or 32L), durability, and price. Excellent choice for beginning to explore one bag territory especially for short trips. Works best as a personal item bag but I’d argue it’s an essential bag for the one bag arsenal.
