A bag inside a bag

I use the Osprey Daylite Plus as a daypack for the Osprey Farpoint 40. Super thin and only 600g when empty but carries very well. External pouch and straps let's you mount additional stuff like swimming gear.

What's on your gencon checklist?

I do an Osprey Daylite Plus. Light bag, has straps to prevent shoulder fatigue. Normally a water bottle, a couple of snacks, phone charger, medications. I have a badge holder for my badge, wallet, and tickets. That's about it. EDIT: Also a foldable reusable shopping bag.

Best features of your backpack

I really appreciate a front dump pocket like on the Osprey Daylite Plus, Osprey Nebula 32L, or the Aer Go Pack 2. It's a must for me now even though many packs don't have one. I think those pockets are my number 1 favorite feature of a backpack. Also, I need 2 good-sized water bottle pockets. And a

12-18L Suggestions

Osprey Daylite (13L) and Daylite plus (20L) would handle the requirements, but not the nice to haves. They are very comfortable and light weight packs. Also great price point. Very underrated.

Carry on bag for Ryanair

I have the Osprey 26+6 and the good news is, the material is very lightweight and flexible, so if you under pack the bag it will squish into the sizer and fit. I also travel with just the Osprey daylite plus (20l) all the time and it’s fine. If you can pack light, your existing school/commute backpa

Best backpack for daily use and travel ?

Osprey Daylite Plus. Great great feature set for the price, weight, size. Tons of color ways to choose from. I have carried mine all over the last 8 years+ and it essentially still looks new.

Help me find my bag

Osprey Daylite Plus is perfect for this. Lightweight and all your requiremetns. I use it exactly how you described. I have yet to be willing to double the weight of the pack to go to an Aer, Rework, etc.

Bag recommendations for work EDC. How important is weight?

Thats not much stuff to carry. I have that in an Osprey Daylite Plus and it weighs 1.29 pounds. I try to keep my backpack as light as possible while enough padding/support. The Daylite Plus works well for me in that regard.
