Going from Kindle to Pocketbook for large PDFs/scans

The only issue is the format in itself, so PDF. I recently tested a 8mb PDF from archive.org for a user here, and it crippled my Verse Pro - on the other hand did I test a high quality 500mb PDF I created myself, and it ran almost as well as an epub. Are you sure that you can change font in reflow-m

Verse Pro vs Verse Pro Color (both FW 6.10) – missing UI text size on Verse Pro

It is what it is, you shouldn't pay so much attention to version numbers, it's likely that PocketBook just messed this up or different devices have different software iterations, and can't be compared to each other, I don't know. Until around two weeks ago, all of my three devices had slightly diffe

Poor performance on koreader with pocketbook era

That's interesting, I use the Pocketbook Verse Pro Color and noticed something similar. Koreader reads through regular epubs, OPDS books, and manga and webtoons on Rakuyomi extremely fast, absolutely no problem opening those files or navigating them at all. But PDFs are a very different experience.

Undecided about buying a Verse Pro

Any ereader (e-tablet/enote) will have flaws, no matter how much money you spend. It's different compared to e.g. to TVs, where you only get the best if you spend a certain amount of money. In the end it's about what you want to do with your device, not how much money it costs (screen size, colour y

Question about logos on Pocketbook Verse Pro

That's because you don't have this update yet; only the InkPad 4 & the Era Color got it until now (it seems to be combined with the added Libby feature), the Verse Pro & Era not. PocketBook isn't fast regarding updates, so I can't tell you anything about a possible time frame when it arrives to the

Pin unlock missing?

That's really bizarre, especially since you already tried a factory reset! One quick thing to check: when you say it's not asking for the PIN on startup, are you turning the device completely off (holding the power button down until it powers down), or just tapping it into sleep mode? Sometimes Pock

Replacing my 4th gen kindle that got bricked? Want something similar

  • Kobo Libra 2 (discontinued, but you can get it refurbished from Kobo Canada if you live in Canada, 7" with page turn keys)- Kobo Clara BW (6", no page turn keys)- PocketBook Era (7", page turn keys)- PocketBook Verse Pro (6", page turn keys) <- most similar to what you have PocketBook devices tend t

Pocketbook Verse: How to extend the power off timer

I don't think it's possible to change that. Funnily seem different devices to have different timer settings (I would have to double check, but I bet all my PocketBooks from the Verse Pro on have many more timeout settings, up to 24h). It's likely that is just an mistake by PocketBook and has to be f

Pocketbook Verse Pro first impression review

Thanks for the reply! I also was able to easily connect audio devices for example to the Kobo, and a keyboard, but they keyboard input was not working. I did some extensive testing on the Kobo Libra Colour: apparently you need to install the Accessibility version of the firmware (which deletes every
