What's the best VPN to use with iOS?
I’d give PIA Vpn a hard pass. That might just be my opinion, but it lagged frequently and didn’t support some webs I use on my iOs. A BUMMER. One time it disconnected without warning, and I have no idea how long my activity was exposed. That was it for me. I recently switched to Bamboo VPN on a fami

For all of the issues Linus has had with Linux, I wonder if he has ever had any problems with Steam Deck/Steam OS
I'm a newish Linux convert using Bazzite and I can say at this point in time I've had more issues on SteamOS than Bazzite. And that's mostly due to the game opening in Windowed mode or some odd resolution and GameMode couldn't latch onto it. It's often a quick fix. Other than that, nothing I could e

Unable to install my VPN
I eventually gave up on PIA client and used Proton VPN. It seems to work well. I haven’t upgraded to premium yet, but the free version seems to connect without issue. I spent countless hours trying to get PIA client to work. It’s possible, but Bazzite makes it a nightmare. There were workarounds, bu

Private Internet Access woes.
A little update on this after getting home: Not the most desirable solution but proton vpn browser ext works better than PIA. Free version is adequate for now.

PIA + Tailscale
Simply enabling Split Tunnel and telling PIA to bypass the VPN for Tailscale does not work now, nor has it ever worked for me on macOS. Would love to know what else you are doing on that platform to make it work.

Is Private Internet Access worth getting, and how does it compare to the usual commercial VPNs?
Split tunnel for firefox and forks leaks my dns server on win11 but didn't on win10. Support acknowledged the issue but haven't fixed yet since summer I raised the ticket. Also could not help me with an issue on debian that qbt didn't connect to pia's wireguard interface automatically after system r

Gluetun or router VPN?
PIA wireguard isn't easy with third party VPN clients. Try a different VPN provider. I switched to Mullvad and it just works.

PIA 3.6.1 Qbittorrent bound, won’t reconnect
Have you found a solution by now? I'm running into this issue now as well. Update: I found a solution. If you start Qbit, stop Qbit, and start Qbit again, then it works just fine. Knowing this, you can setup a Scheduled Task to start, stop, and start qbit upon system startup all behind the scenes. I

the only thing that didn't work for me is the private internet access (PIA) client. it just doesn't work anymore. I've been using proton VPN instead because of this

PIA very slow on Linux recently?
I have the same thing happening on my Linux box as well. It has been gradually getting slower each day, then today I can't connect at all. I posted over in this earlier thread as well: https://www.reddit.com/r/PrivateInternetAccess/comments/1t5xbpr/is_pia_just_broken_now/ I've tried switching settings f
