What is the Best Espresso Machine for daily use as of today 2026?

First of all you need a grinder. I recommend the eureka mignon line of grinders because there is one at every price point, albeit those price points start at about $350 and go to $1k-ish. But truly this is your must have purchase. The Specialita is what started their popularity because they are so q

Poor Man’s Dual Boiler

I always wonder why more people don't do that.Even if you'd buy two brand new Rancilio Silvia and use one exclusively for steam and the other one for Espresso it would be still cheaper than a wide range of dual boiler... The only downside is shelf real estate and having to explain this brilliant ide

Need Help Choosing Coffee Machine☕️☕️

Have a Rancilio Silvia/Rocky grinder 4 shots a day. In 12 years 1 group head seal and 1 pump for the coffee machine, nothing for the Rocky. Replaced pump/seal myself pretty straight forward. Pump was $65. Think I descaled it about 3 times, back flush fortnightly. Can make cafe quality coffee. Bit of

What would be your “one-and-done” espresso machine?

I think it will just depend on if my kids grow up to like espresso drinks, then I'm gonna need to get something dual boiler and maybe with a grind by weight grinder. Otherwise my Rancilio Silvia and Eureka Mignon Zero is perfect for making two drinks in the morning for my wife and I.

Ninja Luxe Cafe 4-in-1 or Breville Barista Express Impress? [$1,200]

I recommend stepping away from the all in ones. They compromise on quality for convenience. Look at, rancilio Silvia and a separate grinder, maybe df64 or niche zero. Almost every time, you’ll get better build quality and espresso quality from a separate grinder and machine.

Top espresso machines on Reddit by positive & negative comments - for tinkering vs beginners vs speed etc. Based on 725 posts in the past year (Mar 2026)

Man, my Rancilio Silvia with the GaggiaMate upgrade changed my coffee-life completely. Can't recommend enough, though the Silvia is tough to tinker with (not enough room for big hands, had to get my youngins' involved).

Breville Barista Express Impress vs KitchenAid Semi-Automatic [$500–900]

Between the two of those, go with the Breville. KitchenAid is not a recommended brand on this sub. That said, all-in-one devices are generally not recommend here. You'd be better off going with a separate brewer/grinder, as it makes sure you don't have a half-functional machine when the built-in gri

First machine.

I had that one. Great one to start on. I moved up to Rancilio Silvia v4. But you’ll love that DeLonghi.
