Reolink vs blue iris
I currently use both BlueIris and the Reolink NVR. Reolink NVR is dummy-proof but lacking in features, especially scrubbing video in a timeline. I now use the Reolink NVR as a backup NVR to BlueIris. One of my favorite features of BlueIris is that it has the option to record continuously using the l

Suggestion on a single camera
You could get the Reolink CX810, 820 or Duo3V dome. They all have color even at night with some mild street light or their own. They store on 256 GB microSD on the camera. No need for Hub. You can download videos to your phone w their app. Don’t get a whole bundle—pick a couple of cameras. I use the

Need advice on home security setup (Reolink + alarm system + monitoring options)
It has to do with lighting, you don't use a color night vision camera in places that are poorly lit or pitch black. CX410 is a color night vision camera, it requires lighting at night to perform well. When lighting is present in the correct amount, CX410 obliterates RLC-810a, especially in this comp

Rate my camera set up
Those professional models are going to offer better performance than like any "default" model from reolink. Only the CX models would be better but in proper lighting of course, those are literally the best models from Reolink. 180° degrees cameras look good in paper but in reality they stretch the i

Is this considered decent for color night vision?
If you uploaded this in the highest quality possible then no, this is really really bad. And I'm being nice here. The CX820 or CX810 is an extreme difference. It will be an extreme upgrade. However if you are looking to get the plate of the car maybe the headlights/tail lights will prevent you from

What brand of security cameras would fit me
Reolink professional models + CX models (particularly CX820 - only use this one in areas with great lighting at night) + reolink professional NVR. Default models from Reolink do not have activity/detection zones. Only those models I mentioned have that. Except for Duo 3 with firmware update, cx810 w

Reolink Vs. Nelly Security L Series
Oh well if you already have both NVRs you can always have both of them working. Ubiquiti as far as I know, doesn't have color night vision cameras, and Reolink color night vision cameras (CX models) are the best from that brand. So you could always use a mix of those 2 (like you use CX models where

ring and nest cameras no blink cameras no If you want something simple that's reliable then go with a PoE camera system from Reolink. Use the CX models from Reolink, those are the better ones. Go with the CX410 for short distances and CX810 for larger distances. If you want zone detection/line tresp

Homebase 3 solid red light but working fine
I'm gonna say it, EUFY is trash, I had 3 3S Pros, returned 2, returned the S340 too, put so much money into this platform and migrated over to Reolink, bought another CX810 today which was 1/3 the price of the S3 Pro, just as good and no BS involved. This 810 now allows me to remove the HB2 with 4 c
