Hehe ja, har også reolink kamera og det er mer eller mindre "set up and forget". Får varsler ved dyr og mennesker på eiendommen. At samme fyr anbefaler å heller holde eiendommen fin ved å luke i bedet, klippe gresset og vedlikeholde diverse, samt sette opp sensorstyrte lys blir bare latterlig 🤣 Å se

Best security camera for home with no monthly fees?
Reolink PoE. Clear videos 4k. Duo 3V and the CX 810 and 820. All 3 are good.

Confused with what camera we need, battery, wifi, poe, 1080/2k/4k etc, just for our residential property? I was considering 1080p main front camera, possibly PoE or USB powered.
Took a look at Reolink options as I'm on the phone (on hold) with a vendor, looks like the RLC-1224A would be a solid choice to try. It has in-camera pet/person/vehicle detection with App based notifications and no subscription for those notifications (they say). 12MP sensor which is well above 4K b

If it does what you're looking that's all that matters. it has IR floods I don't know of any camera that doesn't have IR lights on it otherwise it's night mode would be completely useless.
