Gen 2 completely doesn’t work anymore, is oura better??
Hey I’m going through a similar thing. I had mine for about a year and then randomly it started not charging properly and dying really fast. I contacted the support team and they were actually really helpful, they organised a replacement for me (different colour and size which I preferred too). I’m

Gen3 worth it?
If it were in the UK I’d be all over it with the small but important updates. As of now the Gen 2 works perfectly and does what I need it to do. It’s a shame RingConn don’t have a UK representative to sell their products. Coming from a background in UK and European sales if they were looking for a U

Battery damage
If you purchased directly from RingConn’s website, or from the RingConn store on Amazon, they can confirm your purchase date and send you a free replacement if it’s been less than a year from your purchase date. If you bought on Amazon, you may need to provide them the Amazon order number. My Gen 2

Should I wait?
I thought about this too but decided to go for the Gen2 now. You never want a product right at release (at least I don’t) because of all the bugs they still have to patch. I think the earliest I would be getting it would be in like 7 months; and RingConn has trade in options

Is the No Subscription dream officially dead, or is RingConn Gen 3 our last hope?
While Galaxy Ring 1 is not one that I can recommend unless you pair with a Galaxy Watch, a solid release window for Galaxy Ring 2 remains elusive. RingConn Gen 3 and Ultrahuman Ring Pro both look promising, but as with Oura, current generations of all major brands were effected by early degradation

Oura ring 4 vs Ringconn Gen 2?
Oura Gen 4 has had just as many battery issues (if not more) as RingConn. They are just better at managing reports and faster at replacing (with a refurbished ring). RingConn and Ultrahuman at least replace with new rings.

All my Ringconn v2's have a battery issue after 4-6 months
My Gen 2 Air lasted about 8 months before the battery gave out. RingConn replaced it under warranty and the replacement has gone for 4 months now and is still performing as good as new. I keep a log of every time I change my ring, so I know when it was charged, what the remaining charge was when it

Are we there yet?
My step count/calories burned is very elevated on my ring. Typically 5,000+ steps higher than my phone or watch track. The fitness tracking is a lot more accurate with Strava/fitness watches, but the flip side is that the sleep tracking seems more detailed with the smart rings. I also hate sleeping

Oura 4 vs Ultrahuman air vs Ring conn Gen 2 (alibaba) or wait?
RingConn has no patent troubles as they signed a licensing deal with Oura. They're still on Amazon (in the U.S. anyway). Ultrahuman Air is not there (in the U.S.) because of the patent dispute...but it's new ring should be (Pro) by end of April. I would avoid buying any rings that claim to be major

Worth it?
I bought a Gen 2. Air from RingConn on Amazon (from the RingConn store) just a year ago now. Late last November (at just 8 months old) the battery went bad. It would charge to 100%, then drain to 20-30% in just 12-14 hours. After some troubleshooting with their support, they sent me a replacement ri
