I can confirm that the RingConn Gen 2 will break after wearing it in a sauna. After 6 months of regular use, I eventually got lazy and stopped taking it off while using our 195 degree sauna. After only 1-2 sessions, the battery wouldn't hold a charge longer than 6 hours.

I’ve been using my RingConn Gen 2 for about a year. Over the past couple of weeks, the battery life has dropped significantly, it now lasts only 3 to 4 days, whereas it used to last around 10 to 12 days when I first got it. When I contacted customer support, they offered a $90 discount on a new devi
