I wasn't willing to go without live weather, so I switched to SimpleWeather and have the temperature complication working again. It's definitely having an impact on battery life - looks like I'll get 4 days instead of 6 or 7, but still far better than my galaxy watch 6 classic.

What does the app usage look like? There's a thread on the Samsung forum about Google Play services battery usage. I've been seeing reduced battery as well.
