Go for the Watch 6. Samsung just nerfed the Watch 4 with the OneUI 8 update which broke all sensors making the AOD not work. I recently switched from the GW4 Classic 42MM to the GW6 Classic 43MM.

I wish I came here first. I got back into the galaxy watch game after about 4 years using only G shock watches. I got a gw7 40mm Bluetooth for $119usd I found my old gw and spent the weekend trying to get it up and running again. I use the gw7 for work only and figured the other gw would be back up.
