I keep seeing people recommending the OLED LG’s to accompany the Pro….

According to RTings the Samsung S90F are S95F are superior to the LG C5 and G5 respectively. Only thing about Samsungs they don’t have Dolby Vision so if you plan to use it for TV or movies on top of gaming, LG would be better. Then apparently the Sony Bravia 8 is not as bright as the LG or Samsungs

OLED (S95F) - Is it normal for the image to be so dark and dull without contrast enhancer?

I agree 100%, I try to use some calibration tutorials to start, but most of the time I end up using some of there settings and turning brightness up wherever I can get it on an OLED. Not sure how these calibrators come up with some of these settings, they must be in a pitch black room with absolutel

Considering to upgrade to PS5 Pro and OLED TV

The Pro has a 2tb storage, combined with your current SSD I would think you should be alright unless working with really slow download speeds or really strict data limits. The LG C5 is a solid option that is priced pretty well, and is brighter than the B5 and Bravia8, but it does have WebOs as its i

S90F SDR brightness settings

Rtings says it's 36 to reach 200 nits. That lines up with my S90D. So I'm guessing you'll reach 100 nits at 20-25 brightness. I find that game mode is brighter in SDR than the movie or filmmaker modes so probably 20-22 there and 24-25 for TV watching. Samsung S90F OLED Calibration Settings - RTINGS.

PSSR2.0 Performance

it is better, indeed, but you will still have to tinker with the game settings on pc, and look at the performance all the time. regarding hdr, its the biggest shit cuz you have no idea what you are talking about. monitors are not even close in regard o f hdr brightness, and brightness does matter, s

Unlock request for LG C5 and Samsung S90F.

S90F (QD-OLED) is the better panel. Brighter, more vibrant colors, better off-axis viewing, better shadow detail, no dithering, cleaner panel https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/compare/lg-c5-oled-vs-samsung-s90f-oled/88602/92237?share_token=9QQwnD4Kf40dM7yJ04tfH5ZBOKhxXbCa

Guys I think I going to go with this one for ps5 pro

I've got a Samsung S90F be cause I wanted the extra brightness and color saturation at higher brightness levels over some of the similar prices TVs and I'll agree that regardless of which OLED you go with it's hard to go back!

LG C5 vs Samsung S90F vs Philips820

I've recommended TCLs to a lot of family members on a budget - C805 and C7K were a steal, though I've played around with them quite a bit and their motion is 10 times worse than Samsung's. So is their local dimming algorithm - my old Q70R FALD Samsung blows them out of the water in terms of letterbo

Should I cancel my S90F 83 Inch WOLED TV order?

Short answer:No. Not if you want an 83" OLED and do not want to spend flagship money. At the 83" size there is no QD-OLED. It's all WOLED (with varying performance depending on model). There is barely any coverage on the 83" S90F or C5.Here is a review of a WOLED S90F at the very least.https://www.w
