Static or active HDR - Samsung S95F OLED
Static is much more accurate. HDR is (or, is meant to be) an absolute format, the brightness should appear the same across different displays. The data for this is encoded in the HDR signal you receive (from your console or other media source). The display then has to account for its own capabilitie

Why is the image quality so bad?
https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/samsung/s95f-oled/settings Try those and see if it helps. I calibrated mine and the picture blows the LG out of the water in my opnion.

[AMA] I’m Tim, a national product trainer at Samsung! I’m here to talk about our TV lineup and what you should know about our latest & greatest tech.
Hey there! That's a tough one to answer without knowing more about your space and viewing distance, but I'll gladly share my thoughts! Let's first talk high end options for movies and TV. I can't recommend the S95F enough! Seriously... it gives you those OLED black levels and control you want for mo

Just bought LG G5...returning and wanna get S90f or S95f
Tandem WOLEDs are a bit brighter on average, true. But they're still dimmer in pure color luminance. The main advantage of QD-OLED isn't even that - it's color volume. Tandem WOLEDs still have an additional beightness-boosting white subpixel, which washes out the colors on higher brightness. QD-OLED

Is the LG C5 colors THAT "bad"? C5 vs S90F (GREEN TINT)
I think the camera overexaggerates the green tint of the WOLED and the magenta tint of the QD-OLED. Reality is much tamer than this and also the truth is somewhere in the middle. I personally don't like WOLEDs, I didn't like MLA WOLEDs either. The only panel that I think stands a chance against Sams

2025 TCL QM8K Matched My $30K Monitor - Stop the FOMO
You came to argue about OLED's and all you're equipped with is what you saw on rtings? >_< The G5 and S95F can both hit 4K in 2% windows at their native whitepoint. Vincent Teoh was on camera doing it with the G5 months ago, and another reviewer got 4075 nits out of the S95F. Ok but if they aren't h

Samsung S95F for PS5 Pro?
the s95f is a beast for the pro - those qd-oled colors pop hard and you get full 4k at 144hz. only real concern is burn in if you leave static ui on screen for months. your living room setup with one connect makes samsung the right call. grab a certified ultra high speed hdmi 2.1 cable to actually g

My review and comparison of Flagship SONY BRAVIA 9 TV vs New ALIENWARE AW3425DW 240HZ OLED MONITOR
Get the LG G5 if you want a bright OLED. 2,500 nits 10% windows, 1,200 nits 25% windows, 750 nits 50% windows. It also does 500 nits full screen. It is way brighter than any other OLED. The Samsung S95F is also much brighter than previous OLEDs, although it is not as bright as the LG G5. Colour volu
