stuck on what to buy a dj for christmas...... ideas welcome
yeah. if you wanna go with headphones, it's either sennheiser hd 25, or audio-technica ath-m50x. can't go wrong with both, but I personally found m50x to be more comfortable, especially for bedroom DJing

Sennheiser HD 25 replacement ?
From my own experience/collection: Beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro would be my top choice for your purpose. One of the most comfortable closed headphones out there for extended use. I can wear these for hours and hours. Sennheiser HD-380 Pro are also very comfortable, and isolate better than the Beyers. Sen

headphone volume low when live djing
If you can afford them, the Sennheiser HD 25 is widely regarded as the best DJ headphones (neutral response, high volume, good sound isolation and light weight). They are also very robust (including steel cables, rather than the copper most headphones use) and will be the last pair of DJ headphones

Can anyone recommend me some good headphones for producing?
Best sounding headphones usualy (and unfortunately for you) use open back design so they are not good for using on parties. For parties you want headphones with closed back. So you will have to make compromise or you gota do it like rest of us and use 2 different kind of headphones. Just warning the

headphones
AUDIO-TECHNICA PRO ATH-M40x, Pioneer DJ HDJ-CUE1, SENNHEISER HD25 Light. If you can spend a little bit more I’d get the SENNHEISER HD 25. Great sound and comfortable. They have them on sale with a case at BHphoto. Also if anything breaks on the HD 25 you can replace the piece. All the other ones I m

Headphones recos as video editor
I’ve been using Sennheiser HD-25 for over a decade. Recently switched to a Rode NTH-50, because I have trouble sourcing pads and cables in my country. The rode is a spiritual ripoff of the hd-50 but sounds good for my usage. For your case you might get better comfort, longevity, flexibility out of a

MKH60 for wildlife and other isolated sounds?
Yeah! Pair it with any digital field-recorder and you'll be able to hear neighbors gossiping about you at 100 yards! I pair my AT-812b with my Zoom H6 and a set of Sennheiser HD 25 Plus lightweight monitoring headphones. I chose these particular headphones for its extreme lightweight design and its

Which headphones should I buy?
Sennheiser HD 25 (any version with the one-sided cable). If you prefer on-ear headphones - as opposed to over the ear ones like the MDR 7506 - then these are a no brainer: great isolation, relatively neutral yet still not sounding overly sterile, lightweight build, pretty much indestructible. You ha

Headphones upgrade
started with ath m20x also and currently despise them, they are so big and sliders don’t have any grip on them so they fall off all the time most of times i borrow sennheiser hd 25 from my friend and have a blast with them
