Insta 360 Go 3S, DJI Osmo Nano, or something else?

I’ve seen that too. The SJ30 is kind of one of those “budget but surprisingly capable” cams. The stabilization is honestly what makes it usable for everyday stuff and the dual-lens setup does help a bit in tricky lighting compared to older SJCAM models. The waterproofing out of the box is a nice bon

A little advice can you help?

try the SJCAM SJ30. It’s one of SJCAM’s flagship action cams right now and the stabilization looks really good based on the reviews I’ve seen. It’s compact, lightweight, waterproof, and works well for everyday use, travel, and even riding. The night quality also looks surprisingly decent for its pri

Looking for a action cam — all-around

Oh nice! I’m also using the SJCAM but SJ30, and honestly it’s been one of the most versatile budget action cams. The SJ30’s larger sensor and improved stabilization really help when you’re capturing motion. One thing I particularly like is the flip screen it’s genuinely useful for recording because

Is an 8K action camera worth buying in 2026?

8K action cam like the SJCAM SJ30 can be worth it, but mainly as a bonus rather than a necessity. 8K offers higher detail and allows for better cropping while shooting in 4K provides smoother frame rates, smaller file sizes, and is easier to edit and share. The difference in quality is noticeable mo

looking to buy a camera to make pov videos of my job

You might want to look into an action camera like the SJCAM SJ30, which is great for POV videos because it’s small and can easily mount to a chest strap or head mount. It records up to 4K/8K video and the wide-angle lens also captures more of what you see. It’s really a beginner-friendly, affordable

DJI Action 6 overheats as a dashcam in 10 minutes (I feel ripped off)

overheating really depends on the settings and airflow, Recording 4K 60fps continuously inside a car especially under direct sunlight can push many action cameras to their thermal limits. Even high-end ones but surprisingly my sjcam sj30 doesn’t overheat at all when I use it as a dashcam under simil

Camera recs and suggestions

You want something way more rugged and “throw‑in‑your‑bag” friendly, an action‑camera style option is honestly one of the best paths for travel vlogging. One camera I’ve been recommending a lot lately for city vibes travel content is the SJCAM SJ30. It’s basically an action cam built for everyday us

Why would I buy an SJCAM SJ30 over a used GoPro or DJI Osmo Action?

Just buy a new unit. SJCAM sj30 is a good alternative to more expensive cams you mentioned and can still be used with good performance including the battery life and the dual lens.
