Are Sovol Printers Good?
It depends on your definition on "good printer". They are having good price to performance ratio, but you will need to do more little bit more maintenance on them than on Prusa or Bambulab printers. Also printing profiles for them will need some slight tuning from you to get perfect results. Yes, So

Hey newbie here, wanted to ask what you guys think of the thinking that getting a 3d printer for someone that has some ideas to make use of one but not much after.
so the M5C is no longer owned by anker as they sold their entire 3d printing line to eufy. also that printer is 5ish years old now if I remember correctly. I would be more worried about parts/support buying one personally. you don't need to be an engineer to enjoy 3d printing. there is such a range

My Sv07 Plus can be quite the bitch to get level, but from what I’ve seen the sv06 is still better than that machine. If I could make a suggestion, if you can swing it, look at the Ace vers

Just got an sv06 plus ace I got some questions
Printables had some PSU and MCU 80mm fan conversions. Requires fans and dc-dc convertor for both, both cheap. Ultra easy prints and installs. Significant noise reduction, we well worth doing IMO. Much cheaper than replacing PSU. Edit: Found the ones I used https://www.printables.com/model/1279246-qu

SV06 Plus or SV07 Plus for first ever 3D printer?
I have about 10 years of FDM experience. Purchased the SVO6 Plus ACE as a spare while working with PLA materials. All of my existing machines are enclosed core x/y w/ high temp extruders. It is a good printer. A little TLC and upgrades will make for a great value. I have one suggestion as a priority
