Where to go for luxury office chairs?

graphic office interiors in saanichton has steelcase chairs if you are in that kind of budget (in and around the $1k mark). the leap, series 1/2, amia, and a few others are not mesh. you might need to call ahead to book an appointment, but they had all the chairs as demos to try in-store when I boug

Desk chair recs for petite women

I am 5'0 as well and use a Steelcase Amia. I bought it specifically because it lets me sit cross-legged on it. (As an aside, I found out that I sit cross legged because I have never had a desk that sat low enough for me to put my chair close enough to the ground that I can have my feet flat on the f

desk chair recs for petite women? (specifically for criss-cross sitters!)

I'm 5' 0” and am also a criss cross sitter. I have a SteelCase Amia and it's the best thing I've ever owned. The arms articulate enough that I can sit normally just as comfortably as I can shrimp in it. Super flexible and the seat cushion being nearly flat means no pinch points on my legs when sitti

Too short for office chairs- back can't touch the backrest of the chair.

It’s a steelcase amia! The chair lowers way more than my last one AND the seat pan is shorter

Opinions on the Haworth Soji, WorkPro Quantum 9000, and the Steel Series Amia?

i've tried all three actually. the amia has the best lumbar support of the bunch - it's more adjustable than the soji's fixed curve. the workpro quantum has a wider seat if you shift positions a lot but the foam breaks down faster. for 4+ hour sessions the Steelcase Amia is worth the stretch. the se

Anywhere to buy refurbished herman miller office chairs in Omaha?

https://crandalloffice.com/ They have a lot of open box and remanufactured chairs. They take Steelcase Leap and Amia, replace the cushions and you can customize the color. Highly recommend

Working a job that requires sitting “properly”

Yep! Like a rolling desk chair. it's a Steelcase Amia if you're curious. I got it used on FB marketplace for like $200 and I love it. Very adjustable and works for me as a short person. It has the feature where it has adjustable recline resistance which to me is super important in helping with the w

Home office setup. Anyone else end up preferring a wider seat at home?

Nothing beats a good ergo chair that allows you to vary positions with great support. I'm rocking a Steelcase Amia both at work (3 days a week) and at home.

WFH Office

I have this one, suggested by my physical therapist at the time. I was having tmj/neck pain issues and am short (5’4”). Hard on the body to sit in regular size chairs. https://www.madisonseating.com/shop/amia-work-task-chair-in-black-by-steelcase/?srsltid=AfmBOorWHDqn1A1bO7jDkwFKaVbcM-2vIsG5HpjyZj3r

Anyone found desk chairs that suit fidgeters/cross legged sitters?

I use a steelcase amia and its large enough for me to sit criss cross in (im 5'10) if I push the seat forward a bit. I sit cross cross all the time as well. Sadly it is expensive (700) but honestly this chair is gonna last me a LONG time. And it's adjustable in multiple ways. Very comfortable and it
