suggest me a good ergonomic chair for petite women please

Also, 4'9" here. I got the (Steelcase Leap v2). My feet can touch the ground. It can be a bit pricey depending on your budget, but you may be able to find one at a liquidation warehouse for half the price. I lucked out and got mine in really good condition for $350. Alternatively, there is the Herma

What did you think was pretentious, until you tried it and realized it was worth it?

I have used a Herman Miller Aeron at a previous company, it was very nice, though I never kinda "researched" it at the time. I needed a new chair for my home office a few years ago due to back pain, and realized that my desk chair at work was comfortable for my situation. Turns out it's a Steelcase

Zud

How a Chair Exposed the Worst YouTubers

The Aeron and Steelcase Leap support different body types differently. Unless you’ve sat in an Aeron, I’d recommend finding an office liquidator or the like to try sitting in both. I do not find the Aeron comfy, but my Leap V2 is the best $500 (refurbished) I’ve ever spent all these years later.

Steelcase Leap V2s are fantastic--they give great support and accommodate a wide range of sizes of people. Plus it is easy to find them cheap because they can easily be refurbished.

Setup advice for 5’5 woman?

i feel you on this. i ran into the same issue at 5'4" and it took forever to find stuff that fits. the Uplift V2 Commercial frame goes down to 22.6" which works way better. for chairs the Steelcase Leap V2 has a seat height down to 15.5". also check the Humanscale Diffrient World chair. the desk fra

Any other women here on the shorter/petite side who’ve actually found an ergonomic chair that fits properly long term?

I'm 5 ft 3 and enjoy my Steelcase Leap (v2) with the multi-way adjustable armrests (so not too wide once pushed inwards) without the headrest, though I'm also not exactly petite. Both seat depth and lumbar support are adjustable.

Help with larger chair recommendations

those specific seat measurements narrow it down a lot. i'd look at Steelcase Leap V2 with adjustable seat depth - hits 20" easily and back is tall enough. the Haworth Fern has a 41" back and cushion is way softer than Secretlab, not stiff at all. also check SitOnIt Wit Home Edition, depth goes to 20

What’s the best ergonomic office chair for long hours of remote work?

your back will thank you. herman miller aeron is the gold standard but pricey. used steelcase leap v2 on facebook marketplace for 300 to 500 dollars is your best value. look for adjustable lumbar depth and seat pan that slides. mesh breathes better foam feels plusher. what is your budget roughly
