Looking to get a new Gaming chair.
Honestly skip the gaming chairs and get a decent office chair instead. Herman Miller Aeron or even a Steelcase Leap will destroy any "gaming" chair for comfort and your back will thank you later

What did you think was pretentious, until you tried it and realized it was worth it?
I have used a Herman Miller Aeron at a previous company, it was very nice, though I never kinda "researched" it at the time. I needed a new chair for my home office a few years ago due to back pain, and realized that my desk chair at work was comfortable for my situation. Turns out it's a Steelcase

Looking for the Best Office Chair for Lower Back Pain Mainly
Does adjustable lumbar really make that big of a difference? Yes. I'd say this one is worth it, it is a major touch-point on a chair. How firm should the seat be for long term comfort? Slightly "too firm" if buying new, since it will soften over time. Just right if buying used. Are headrests worth i

Average teenage pro gamer starter pack
No they don’t lol those racer style bucket seat chairs wreck your back in no time. Go with an actual office chair like a HM Aeron or Steelcase Leap v2.

Steelcase Leap V2s are fantastic--they give great support and accommodate a wide range of sizes of people. Plus it is easy to find them cheap because they can easily be refurbished.

Best Chair Attributes you look for as an Editor
I was always an Aeron man, but bought a Steelcase Leap v2 on sale (like $300 off). Hated the feel, planned to return it, but needed to work through the week with it. 5 days in I noticed I was waking up with less lower back stress. Kept the chair, and my lower back has given me zero problems and I’m

What is a 'buy it for life' item that is offensively expensive, but the moment you use it, you realize your entire life before that point was a lie?
Steelcase Leap v2 or a couple of other steelcases are great. Never even really needed to look at others and my back thanks me everyday for getting them (I have multiple now - you can find them pre owned for relatively cheap depending on where you are in the world)

Any other women here on the shorter/petite side who’ve actually found an ergonomic chair that fits properly long term?
I'm 5 ft 3 and enjoy my Steelcase Leap (v2) with the multi-way adjustable armrests (so not too wide once pushed inwards) without the headrest, though I'm also not exactly petite. Both seat depth and lumbar support are adjustable.

good chair recommendations for bar prep? pls help
I use a Steelcase Leap v2, only $200 ish if you keep an eye on Facebook Marketplace and the like. I got mine refurbished from BTOD, who also has a very informative YouTube channel about all sorts of ergonomic chairs. You might want to watch some of them to see what features would benefit you, like a

I'm newly disabled and cant game anymore on PC
I shattered 9 vertibre 3 years ago, I have similar issues with sitting at my desk now. I put a sit/stand desk next to my bed and lined my ergo steelcase Leap with 3in of memory foam, it has helped immensely. At first (after being bedridden for a year) i couldnt sit for more than 45 min at most in my
