Are there any SteelSeries headsets, or alternatives, that have the physical chatmix option of the Arctis 7?
Is there a particular reason for a physical chatmix? I use a Arctis Nova Pro Wired (though will be retiring it for the Turtlebeach Stealth Pro IIs), the GameDAC has a physical control wheel that controls volume and game/chat mix.

Bad products
I was also a fan for years. I have an Apex Pro and had an older Arctis 5 headset that I really liked so when it finally stopped working I got an Arctis Nova Pro wired. the first thing to go within a year was the earpads...all of the pleather started coming off. That was no big deal and I replaced th

Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless ANC ear pressure, blocked almost to an headache?
Physical ear pain - I think the ANC mic inside the cup of the headset was pushing against my ear. Once I replaced the cushions - it is totally gone. Lots of reports of it on reddit:https://www.reddit.com/r/steelseries/comments/wrjvdx/the_arctis_nova_pro_wireless_anc_rub_was_too/

Arctis Nova Elite sticky plastic soft-touch
Nova Elite is definitely not worth the price just to have the same build and only a little bit more audio quality. I’m a SteelSeries fan. I have the Nova 7 and Nova Pro. I tried the Nova Elite and I don’t think it’s worth that high price. What annoyed me the most about this headset is, how they’re c

that's really thoughtful. since he has a standalone mic, skip gaming headsets entirely and get him proper headphones. at $300, Sennheiser HD 560S is perfect - open-back, amazing for footsteps in fps, no mic to deal with. also Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro if he likes a bit more bass. both are wired and pl

Arctis Nova Elite sticky plastic soft-touch
I bought the arctis nova pro wireless in 2023. Don't get me wrong, the headphones have great audio quality, better than any gaming headphones I've ever used (granted I've only used turtle beach before this) but the overall build quality is terrible. My mic port is broken and I can't pull out the mic

Anyone else bitter about buying the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless?
I purchased the Arctis Nova Pro wired model...I know this is not really related to this but I am posting my now very negative feelings towards steelseriess every time that I can. I have been very loyal to the brand until recently. the headset went through normal wear...about 2-3 hours of use each ev

Which one is the endgame headset?
I’ve had em all arctis nova pros sound like tin cans. Maxwell too heavy uncomfortable and not enough features. As well as audiophile headphones. Stealth pro 2s just do everything I want and more. Comfort, features, build quality, immersive sound and anc.

i've looked into this exact comparison. the Audeze Maxwell is the winner for durability and repairability - it has a metal headband and replacement parts are sold separately. the battery life is insane at 80 hours. the Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro has hot-swappable batteries but the headband plastic
