Help choosing the right TP-Link mesh device?
I apologize if this question is answered somewhere on this sub I haven’t found. I’m new to TP-Link products (which I imagine many of you here are familiar with) and am a bit confused by the different product names and options for One Mesh, Easy Mesh, Deco, etc.
I recently bought my first TP-Link r

Good simple wifi extension
If she's using the Verizon router just add their wifi extender: https://www.verizon.com/home/accessories/fios-extender/ Price is a little steep, but then you don't have to deal with it. That's the route I would take. Cheapest option would be something like this for $70 (random example) in access poi

running VPN off router to only one device - possible?
Don't think it's possible with that router you have, check out a TP link ax1800, it's definitely not as good as some out there but i can guarantee you that you can individually select devices by the MAC address that you want to use the VPN. I only recommended this router because I have been using on

Can anyone recommend A good WiFi extender for my setup?
This is a super typical use case; mesh is great for devices that roam. WiFi in the garage is for what, garage door, lights, and IoT items, because if it is your mancave it is a slightly different answer. I know you said Ethernet is not needed, but actually, it could really help. The AP comment from

What wifi do people use?
This is a pretty well rated one in that area. https://ziplyfiber.com/fiber-internet . Make sure it's at least 150 Mbs and no data Caps if you can. And depending on the company ask if you can use your own router and they give you just a modem so no monthly fee. Here's a pretty good router for the pri
