Need proof before ending things.

I wound up getting a tp link Archer Axe75 router with the tether app and swapped out our main router to get proof. It can be set up to track individual device usage even in incognito. It won’t show the exact videos being viewed but it’ll show what domain names and apps have been visited and for how

Help, I think we need a new router whats the best options?

I had some lower end Lynxis router and tons of issues with portal, got myself TP-Link's Archer AXE75 for Christmas and let me tell you, this thing is a beast. No issues since, and super simple app to manage network and all settings.

New update just dropped

Just weighing in and adding on to u/SameWeekend13 answers. Some ISP supplied routers are trash because of cheap skate components, planned obsoletion, or lack of functionality. I had an reputable brand modem/router combo in the form of an netcomm nf18acv. (Individual user ratings may vary) It did ser

Router recommendations.

I set up a pair of Archer AXE75 yesterday and so far so good. Easymesh wasn’t that easy to set up but after some fiddling got it going. I can get the 6GHz band to my only device (Alienware laptop) that supports it on the second floor, with main router in the basement, which is great. I did notice ho

Ps5 pro network only working on 2.4hz on wifi

I had a similar issue last month where my console kept defaulting to 2.4GHz. Honestly, try separating your 2.4 and 5GHz networks in your router settings first - that's what finally fixed it for me. If your router really won't let you disable IPv6, you might consider a gaming-focused router like the

Need cheap DFS/6 GHz capable router

You can try the TP-Link Archer AXE75. It’s got 6 GHz support, lets you pick channels, and works fine in bridge mode. It's pretty easy to set up, too, and not crazy expensive... Should do the trick without messing with the nursing home’s setup.

What router should I get?

So depends on your ISP, so check their list of approved equipment but I’d get a Docsis 3.1 modem. I like Hitron which works for Comcast and Cox. The 1 Gbps is a $100? I just got the CODA56 which is 2.5 Gbps. Buying is cheaper than renting from the ISP but you need to use the equipment for almost 2 y

Wifi channel congestion

You should first try enabling DFS channels if possible, this will unlock less congested airspace, though performance can be briefly interrupted if radar is detected. If that fails, upgrading to a newer, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) router with full DFS support is a good solution, as it will likely offer bette
