Aging router upgrade advice

If you are happy with your single all-in-one, there's no need to go with a mesh system. There's nothing "better" about it, it's usefulness is extending wifi coverage when you can't or won't wire an access point. Here are some suggestions within your budget. ASUS RT-BE86U (Wi-Fi 7): The top "all-roun

What are people replacing TP-Link routers with?

Yeah. I have both the BE550 and Dream Router on my hands and the UDR7 is almost 2x slower than the BE550 for some reason. I followed everyone's advice so far and factory reset twice. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. The unifi app is really great though. Idk why my wifi speeds suck though Also, t

Router recommendations for PCVR?

Puppis S1 or AXE75/AXE5400 The BE9300/BE550 is the most futureproof, but also still quite pricey.

Full Wi-Fi 7 Mesh Setup with Deco BE25 - 2.5Gbps Ethernet Backhaul & MLO vs Wi-Fi 6E?

I was recently researching on budget setup to replace my old mesh Deco M5s and M9 pros (not well supported already, old FW and issues with new iphone 17s and guest network DNS). Purchased two archer BE550, they can be setup as mesh and its 3-band wifi 7, and 2.5G eth backhaul. I hoped to utilise all

Recommend me an access point / Router

Internet connection speed has nothing to do with your PCVR streaming experience. You can use it with dialup or even without internet (VD requires internet though, but it's only for DRM check so internet speed is irrelevant unless you are playing an online game). Quest 3 doesn't support Wifi 7 (only

Why high download and upload ping on BSNL fiber 300 Mbps plan

Syrotech is running in bridge mode. Asus was not giving WiFi 7 that's why I went with TPlink. So do you mean If i switch to lets say act fiber, then also the same issue will be there? I don't think the router which ACT fiber provides is better than this TPlink be550 overall. I still feel BSNL is mes

Hows everyones experience with IOT network?

Geez, I thought 36 devices was already bad enough. That's not counting my 20+ Phillips Hue devices either. They're so freaking expensive BUT the hub and advanced features make them 100% better than all of the other smart lights I've used by miles. In your case, an entirely different physical router

Should I get a 6e or WiFi 7 router for my apartment?

It would be great for future proofing. I’m leaving my plex server/nas at my parents house where I currently live for now, to save on energy cost mainly (they use it a ton so that’s approved), but eventually it’ll come with me and that will be super useful. Electricity prices are going crazy right no

Router recommendation

I think there's some pretty decent mesh systems for under $300, look at the Tp-Link Deco X50. If you just want a standard router, you may only need that if your current router covers the apartment with, according to your phone in bars strong Wi-Fi, I would take a look at the archer BE550.
