So impressed by the Wharfedale Evo 5.1s
It's interesting because I though I wouldn't like the laid back sound profile, but it's become what I prefer and look for. Hours and hours of fatigue-free listening! But I grant they aren't for everyone. I have a pair of Triangle Borea BR04 that I adore as well, but their upper end is more "there" a

For vinyl listening, may I ask the what you'd go with pertaining to Kef Q150/Q350 or Klipsch RP-600M ii.
You should also consider the Triangle BR04 speakers. https://listenup.com/products/triangle-borea-br04-bookshelf-speakers-pair?variant=60225714585759&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=21891934047&gbraid=0AAAAAo_KcOJ3SbY92NqIa4A8v6f9SwJQi&gclid=CjwKCAjwzevPBhBaEiwAplAxvggeDPycHyyJ7lW_Rxf7-jZJ0RuIENky-ymLCCaeC1

New Speaker Day - Short review of the Triangle Borea BR04's
Both are fantastic and they seem like a match made in heaven. The Wiim Amp Ultra really brings out the bass of the Triangle BR04!

Replacing big, old tower speakers - what should I buy?
I have the front ported Triangle Borea BR04 and I like them very much. You will need a stand if they’re going to sound right. I do also have a pair of JBL 550 self powered subwoofers that do all the heavy lifting on the bass below 80 Hz. All the speakers were purchased open box or on close out which

Near wall speakers for a Sansui AU-517?
Front or bottom ported speakers would help with any bass reflection. I believe Elac and Triangle have several. I believe the Comete and BR04 from Triangle get decent reviews. Elac speakers have a general reputation for being flat/neutral speakers. Over budget, but supposedly really good are PMC’s Pr

Whether the LS50WII are still the best performers in their price category
Yes he should consider all the others, and there are more you didn't mention like the triangle br03 bt or maybe br04 bt, don't remember exactly. I would also highly consider normal powered speakers fed by a wiim ultra, or passive speakers of course, fed by a wiim amp ultra. The downside of the kefs

Active speakers for a simple living room setup at around 1500$
Ive got the SVS Wireless Pros, to me they sound muddy without being EQ'd. I'd do a Wiim amp ultra, Triangle BR04 (I have them, they crush my SVS Wireless Pros), and an SVS 3000 Micro sub. I also live in a smallish apartment. The 3000 Micro is a miracle of a woofer
